Narrative

The protagonist of these fantastic adventures enables us to get the essence of this film: a mixture of drama and comedy. This film is a whole narrative that uses a “simple minded” character to portray important events of the 1960’s, 70’s and 80’s. Together with simple camera shots, a vivid color, realistic mise-en-scene and interesting inspirations of History, this master piece is brought up to call us to simplicity. “Forrest Gump” combines culture, History and love represented by different characters that at random, they fall on with this special man; all of them are ingredients that help Forrest cooking his tasty story.
“Forrest Gump” is one of the most known movies in the world. It has won many famous prizes such as the Academy Awards and Golden Globe.  The film was directed by Robert Zemeckis and the main character is represented by Tom Hanks.
The life story of a special man is developed through many historical events of the United States.  His characteristics, such as, being naive, sympathetic, reliable, loyal, obedient, optimistic and hard-working, guide Forrest to succeed in everything he does. Even when he has to deal with many hard times, his mother and best friend’s death, bullets and wars, the life is in his side to make up him for everything.
